Sometimes a portal can open up and our wishes can be instantly granted. I have a sweet story about this that I want to share with you.
This weekend, I was plotting out all of the travel I wanted to do this summer. This includes going to see my mom in Chicago, my partner’s parents in the Washington DC area, a trip to Denver for INATS and some other things. My earth-girl-self got a little daunted at the thought of paying for all of the plane tickets. For those of you who travel often, you probably know that air fare is a bit high right now due to the summer travel crunch and increased gas prices.
So, this weekend as I added up all of the plane tickets that I wanted to purchase, I got a bit glum at the high price tag associated with doing all the travel that I wanted to do. I could feel my energy contract as I resigned to having to let something on the list go. The obvious choice was to take INATS in Denver off the list. This could be construed as optional… but still, I was sad at the thought of not attending. Especially since I was feeling so much guidance to go. (It’s one of those adventures that I might not completely understand until I’m standing on the other side of it).

But this weekend I was in Northern California, and had to fly back to Los Angeles. On the way to the airport, Wes and I were discussing the concepts of the laws of attraction & manifestation from The Secret DVD. And we were reminding each other of how easy manifestation is for the universe… it’s just that in the physical realm we judge it as hard.
Well, I REALLY wanted to go to Denver & Chicago and Washington… and I asked the universe to make it graceful.
Lo and behold, I arrived at the airport to discover that my flight was departing on time. However the flight that had been scheduled to depart two hours prior to my flight had been delayed for three hours. The airline was scrambling to find passengers willing to bump off my flight and take the now-very-delayed other flight which would be leaving one hour later. For volunteering our seats we would receive one FREE ticket.
Whoa~!
I mean, the airlines wasn’t even asking, they were begging… you see, many of the people on the earlier flight had connections they needed to make. And the airlines had to get them to Los Angeles ASAP. Well, I ran up to the counter and volunteered. So I received a free roundtrip ticket anywhere in the continental U.S. in exchange for my willingness to arrive one hour later in L.A.
And now, I am booked to Denver for the INATS conference using my FREE ticket.
So, just a reminder, Dear Ones, the magical manifestation portal can open up at any moment. We just need to believe and give the universe a chance to show us how easy it can be to step into our dreams.
