Well, it’s hard to believe that my last posting here was dated June 30th…. How did it get to be July 12th already? I wish I could tell you that my lack of posting has been due to being off on grand adventures to exotic locales. However, it’s mostly due to the summer-oh-no-mercury-is-in-retrograde-again doldrums. Each year around this time my energy feels like it shifts into low gear. Things begin to move more slowly — my thoughts, my actions, my inspiration… Maybe it has something to do with the summer heat. I’m not a big fan of the heat… just as I’m not a big fan of the cold. I’ve got a bit of the Goldilocks Syndrome where I like it to be just perfect all the time.
So I’ve been spending these last few weeks going about my business, albeit at a slower pace.
For those of you sensitive to such things, you might already be aware that the energy is rather funky right now. Many of my clients are reporting that they are feeling out of sorts, a bit agitated, feeling rather tender. And these feelings don’t really feel like they belong to them. Well, my dears, there’s quite a lot of chaos and upset circling in the collective unconscious right now. As Lightworkers, we need to remember to take good care of ourselves. If you’re feeling like you might be picking up energy that doesn’t belong to you, remember to shield yourself when you’re out with the masses. Call in the light. Ask the angels to help you with this. And when you get home at the end of the day, consider taking a shower or bath to help rinse the energy from you.
And in the meanwhile, take a bright beautiful color bath. I’m heading this blog entry with this picture of colorful baskets because when I saw it, it made my heart jump. It feels a bit therapeutic, so I’m sharing it with you here.
Have a magnificent day, dear ones. Treat yourself to something luscious. A ripe peach perhaps, some bodywork, an ice cream sundae, a walk on the beach, a hug from a happy child. Mindfully connect with something that sparks joy in your heart today and let God know that you’re glad to be alive.
