“Everything happens in Divine Timing.” How many times have you heard that phrase uttered? In spiritual circles it is accepted as truth. It is a spiritual principle that I believe to my core.
…but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. Sometimes Divine Timing and my timing seem miles apart. That’s the thing about spiritual principles, it’s one thing to accept them. It’s another thing to accept them.
It my perfect world, everything would happen in a way that fits with my hopes and expectations. I wouldn’t have to spend a single moment in discomfort wondering if something I’m anticipating would or wouldn’t happen.
But like all other humans, I am subject to the whims of Divine Timing. There are a few areas in my life right now where my timing and God’s timing are not in agreement. In my perfect scenario my manifestations would have already taken place. But I’m still in that place in-between, waiting for the world to keep spinning until we reach the appointed time when my creations are delivered.
Sometimes you have done your part. You have taken action, seeded prayers, cleared your space and yet you still find yourself waiting. It is not easy to be in the gap between intention and manifestation. Especially when the gap feels unbearably long. Especially after watching The Secret and learning about The Law of Attraction
. Especially after owning your co-creative genius and stepping forward in your power.
Even after all that, you can sometimes find yourself waiting for the stars to align and the Angelic Delivery Truck to stop in front of your home and knock on your door.
Brian Andreas, the artist behind the brilliant and whimsical Story People as a a story called, “Almost New Age” it is short, sweet and to the point.
“Is willing to accept that she creates her own reality except for some of the parts where she can’t help but wonder what the hell she was thinking”
…ain’t it the truth!
So to make myself useful while I wait, I share with you some tips as well as a message from Josephus & the Wisdom Council about how to keep yourself amused while waiting for God’s time.
5 Things to Do While Waiting for Divine Timing:
- Go for a walk, go to a movie, meet a friend for coffee. All of these fall under the “keep yourself distracted and busy” category. If you’re busy, time moves more quickly.
- Pray. Talk to your angels. Point your finger at the sky and say, “Hey! Can you get things rolling for me?” You’d be surprised how a little bit of prayer & sweet talking the angels can help move things in your favor.
- Create a vision board, say affirmations and visualize a positive outcome. Your mind can be a powerful ally or a saboteur. It likes to keep busy, so assign it a job of imagining positivity and light. Otherwise it’s like an unattended three year-old and it can get into trouble in the blink of an eye.
- Read an inspiring book or watch inspirational people like Oprah or Dr. Michael Beckwith. When I have a hard time being my own cheerleader I outsource to the best. A few hours of Marianne Williamson, SARK or the aforementioned Oprah, Michael Beckwith and I’m good to go for a while longer.
- Call in your inner wise one and create your own releasing ceremony. Write down all the things that you find frustrating, worrying, upsetting or scary and then lovingly burn the paper and imagine the energies dissipating into light (and of course remember to use fire safely…).
Josephus & the Wisdom Council have a beautiful way of explaining Divine Timing . I’ve asked them to share the teaching with you. In this six-minute audio clip, you will hear them share their teaching. At the end of the segment, they provide a clearing and attunement to assist you on your path.

The angels and I are wishing you well as you manifest and navigate your path. You are loved.
And if you, too, are waiting for Divine Timing to come knocking on your door, give me a call. Let’s go have coffee and remind each other that patience is a virtue and everything is happening in Divine Timing and all that jazz.
God bless. Namaste. Peace be With You.
