I have a confession to make. Even though I serve as a spiritual teacher and channel messages from angels and higher guides, I still get scared sometimes. I still doubt and there are times when I still experience challenge and upset.
It is a myth that our earthly self goes away as we ascend on our spiritual path. Perhaps it does for some. But for many of us, we are here to have dual citizenship. We are here to be citizens of both heaven and earth.
My Earth Girl self is the part of me that worries. She gets annoyed with people in traffic. She gets mad at politicians. She feels a twinge of sadness when someone unsubscribes from our mailing list. She even once chased a woman into a store and yelled at her for tossing her chewed gum on the sidewalk (and I mean Yelled!).
One of my spiritual teachers once said, “It is one thing to learn spiritual principles, it can take a lifetime to embody them.” So true. Especially when we are in the process of awakening while living in the 3D world.
In lifetimes past, this kind of spiritual journey would have led to living in an ashram, a convent, a monastery or somewhere else that was separated from the daily grind of living. But in this moment, we are being asked to awaken while living smack dab in the middle of life. In the midst of traffic, emails, cell phones and refined sugar. We are being asked to open our heart chakras and bring divine love to the planet.
As Lightworkers we are being asked to:
- Teach about prosperity during a crummy economy.
- Teach about unconditional love for people who have committed crimes that seem unforgivable.
- Love ourselves no matter what.
- Have faith even when faith is hard to find.
- Awaken to intuitive gifts even when many judge this as nuts.
- Serve as a pioneer of consciousness even when the world says it is not safe to be so bold.
- Step forward in spiritual leadership even though you’d rather sit home and read a book.
Talk about a spiritual adventure!
Want to know the good news? You are so ready for this. You are a beautiful mighty being of light who has chosen to incarnate at this very moment to help uplift humanity.
Your angels are whispering to you, they are supporting you. Your guidance has led you to read this angel message. You are learning ancient spiritual principles of love and applying them in the modern world. You are investing in your spiritual well being. And that speaks volumes about who you truly came here to be.

Bless this moment as whole and complete. Allow yourself the opportunity to breathe and rest. You are readying to fly once again. The rumbling in your Spirit signals you are preparing to leap into a higher dimension of awareness.
Believe in your authority to create beauty in your life. It is easy to see goodness on a light-filled day. However it can be challenging to see light in the Shadow’s dance.
The Shadows are having a merry time of things right now. They are singing songs of fear and scarcity.
Your job, Blessed One, is to remember your Divine Nature. You have incarnated at this time to bring love and light to the planet.
To uplift consciousness, you must first embody it. Hence you may feel fear or sadness or anger. Trust in your ability to rise above present circumstance. Your situation never defines you. You are mightier than the highest mountain. Love yourself with compassion and remember you were born to fly.
