Pillar One – Eating One-Gen Foods:
What is a One-Gen food?
“One-Generation Foods” are foods that come directly from Mother Earth. They are wholesome, organic, healthy and filled with life. They are minimally-processed. A tree from an apple or from the farmers’ market is considered “direct from Mother Earth.” An apple chopped up into another dish and baked is considered “one-generation away from Mother Earth”.
Can I cook my food?
Yes. Cooked food is still considered One-Gen.
Can I eat meat?
Yes. However, we encourage you to consume only from animals that have been raised humanely and using sustainable practices (i.e. free-range chicken, grass-fed beef).
Can my food be pre-packaged?
Yes, as long as it is contains the highest whole food ingredients. However we encourage you to consume most of your foods from fresh ingredients.
What can I eat if I’m craving something sweet? Salty?
One of the components of the program is to retrain your palate, so we will be encouraging you to decrease the sweetness & saltiness of your foods during the program. However, if you’re craving sweet or salty, here are some suggestions.
Sweet One-Gen Foods: sweet potatoes, watermelon, grapes, dates, agave syrup, organic honey
Salty One-Gen Foods: olives (good quality – not from a can), pickles, sea salt
What is the objective or retraining the palate?
The palette is looking for very satisfying flavors, very salty, sweet and fatty. The objective is to get it clear so that you can taste food again and trust your instinctual appetite.
What about gluten?
Josephus & the Wisdom Council are suggesting that you refrain from ingesting gluten during the first two weeks of the program. After that, you can re-introduce it slowly and monitor your reply. During the program we are going to encourage you to stay way from wheat products entirely. However assuming you are not gluten intolerant or sensitive, if you would like organic oatmeal or barley during the program, these will be OK (these typically contain or are cross-contaminated with gluten).
What about refined sugar?
No. Nope. Nuh-uh. If you choose to eat sweet foods, please have foods sweetened with agave, honey or dates. If you have other questions about this – J&TWC will be able to answer your questions during the program.
I’m having a momentary freak out because I really want “off program” food. What can I do?
A few suggestions:
- Ask the angels for help
- Remember that you are releasing an addictive response to food stimulus. It is a good time to go outside, listen to a guided meditation or meditate. Your goal is to interrupt the experience and redirect your focus.
- Attune to what the true desire is… if you are craving a sweet treat, try eating a few grapes, a piece of watermelon.
- Remind yourself that it’s only for six weeks – if it helps have a countdown calendar until you complete the program.
- Have you ever experienced a three year old obstinately pester you for a cookie or piece of candy. They will go at it for a very long time until their energy is redirected or they get the food. Think of this example when your cravings are screaming loudly. It’s the part of you that is reflecting the three year old with little impulse control. Talk lovingly to this aspect and redirect the energy.
Can I have grains?
Yes, in whole form. Examples are organic brown rice, organic gluten-free oats and others. Be extremely selective about the products you purchase. Make sure they have not been genetically modified (non-GMO) and they are organic.
I have to shop/cook for other people – what’s the best way to handle this?
We will have a “Food Coach” with us during the program. She will be able to provide specific suggestions and tips for integrating One-Gen foods into your family’s diet.
In the meanwhile, do your best to bring foods into the house that you can enjoy while on the program. From a psychological perspective – don’t try and “convert” or “evangelize” to others as it has the potential to amp up their resistance. Rather, emphasize the sense of fun & adventure of the journey.
For example – you can make homemade sorbet or a rice milk ice cream sweetened with agave or honey. The kids will have fun making it with you and delight in eating their own creation.
I seem to be hungry more often – why is that?
Whole foods consisting of plants, fruits and seeds are processed efficiently by the body. Therefore the body craves food more often. This is actually a good thing providing that you keep OneGen foods with you to eat when you are hungry.
Hunger is not a bad thing. It is a signal from your body that it has processed the food you’ve eaten and it requires more nutrients. When responding to hunger, try and eat something that has a little bit of protein and a little bit of carbs (i.e. organic nut butter on an apple, edamame and some baby carrots).
Do you have recipes or food suggestions?
Yes! We will have a recipes section of the web site. We’re determined for this to be a delicious experience!
What if I “go off” program, do I need to start all over again?
No. This is a program based in compassion and love. If you eat processed foods, simply resume One-Gen eating as quickly as possible. That said — we do encourage you to abstain from highly refined processed foods if at all possible as consuming these foods may trigger an addictive response. This applies especially to foods with refined sugar, white flour, high fructose corn syrup, MSG and other trigger foods.
Will I lose weight?
The goal is not weight release, although that may be a benefit. It is about bringing higher energy into the body and creating a new pattern.
If you are one who has struggled with obesity and losing weight, Josephus & the Wisdom Council strongly encourage you not to weigh yourself during the program. This is to avoid triggering any subliminal responses to the numbers on the scale. If you have to monitor your weight for heal reasons, of course, do so.
Pillar Two – Positive Group Support:
I have a question – can I talk with Laurel or Josephus & TWC?
We will be having two calls a week where you will be able to ask questions of Laurel & J&TWC. In addition, we will have a message board that will be monitored by Laurel and our Food Coach, Shelee. We will do our best to answer your questions in a timely manner.

Can my angels help?
Yes! You can ask your angels to help make this path graceful for you, to clear blocks and fears, to connect you with a desire for healthy food and to bring to you the wisdom & resources to make the shift easily. We will be bringing forward more methods for using angelic assistance during the program.
I’m scared I won’t succeed. Any guidance for me?
You are not alone! Almost every person registering for this program has expressed fear about embarking upon this process. If it were easy, you’d already be eating this way. Rest assured, we are going to provide you with loving, compassionate, enthusiastic support. And remember, this is only for six weeks. You can do about anything for six weeks!
This program is designed to assist you in connecting with your divine wisdom, your courage and your life-force as you make powerful shifts in your energetic chemistry.
Remind me why I’m doing this again?
This is about reclaiming your life-force and vitality. It is about reconnecting with the innate wisdom of your physical body and its sacred connection to Mother Earth.
Pillar Three – Energetic Upgrades
What is the purpose of the attunements?
The intention is to create a clear energy field and a more balanced space to better receive the energy upgrades that are being delivered to humanity right now.
What is the best way to integrate the energetic upgrades?
We recommend setting aside a few minutes each day to intentionally connect with the energetic attunements that are being broadcast during the program. You can sit in quiet meditation, listen to a guided meditation, use affirmations or any other way you “connect”.
In addition, during your astral travel while you are sleeping, and during the waking time when you are in nature are wonderful times to integrate the higher energies.
Is this compatible with other energetic treatments such as Reiki?
Yes. Reiki, Sound Healing, and other forms of energetic attunements are nurturing during this process.
Pillar Four: Renewed Connection with Mother Earth
Why is it important to get out in nature?
Mother Earth knows how to sustain life. During the program you will be encouraged to spend time in nature. Visit a grove of old-growth trees, meditate on the beach, go hiking, spend time in the sunshine… all of these will assist in calibrating your energy field so that you experience greater vitality and balance.
Do you have suggestions for what to do or where to go?
- Go hiking
- Work in the garden (if climate allows, a late-season vegatable garden would be great!
- Go to the beach
- Visit a botanical garden
- Walk a labyrinth
- Meditate under an old growth tree
- Go apple picking in the fall
Is there a specific time that is best?
Anytime is a good time, but try and pick a time or activity that speaks to your heart. For example watch a sunrise or sunset, gaze at the stars, dance under the moon. Find a time when you feel inspired to engage with Mother Earth in a way that speaks to your heart.
