Home to The Tor, Chalice Well and Glastonbury Abbey, Glastonbury is a land steeped in myth, legend and light. Glastonbury is linked to the Ancient Isle of Avalon, The Goddess, King Arthur and Guinevere, Merlin, Druid & Celtic traditions and Christianity. This will be a joyful and sacred journey of light~!

Details:

• Dates: April 21 to 25, 2008
• Times: Complete Schedule TBD. However, start time on 4/21 will be 10:00 am; End time on 4/25 will be 1:00 pm. There will be some evening events during the week.
• Includes: Workshop, Access to Sacred Sites
• Not Included: Transportation to Glastonbury, Lodging, Meals
• Location: Glastonbury, England! Our base of operations will be near High Street. It is recommended that participants find lodging within an easy walk of this area.
• Activity-Level: This workshop involves a moderate level of walking and hiking to sacred sites. Please bring comfortable shoes.

Transportation and Lodging Recommendations:

• Lodging: Glastonbury is a small town and there are many wonderful Bed & Breakfasts (B&Bs) available. There are several good web sites that list many of the local B&Bs in the area. Lodging is available at almost every price point.
• Transportation: Please read the transportation sections of the web sites recommended below to determine the best way to get to Glastonbury. It is located a few hours from London, so if you fly into Heathrow, remember to make arrangements for the additional transport to Glastonbury. The nearest airport to Glastonbury is in Bristol (approximately 30 minutes away).
• Meals: Glastonbury is vegetarian friendly. There is also a large supermarket and a few smaller health food stores in town.
• Passports: If you do not already have a passport, all U.S. participants are encouraged to apply immediately due to the long delays in processing applications.

Recommended Reading:

• Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley: This wonderful book reflects a fictional account of the Arthurian legend which is thought to have taken place in the heart of what is now, Glastonbury. The book is a wonderful vehicle for getting in touch with the Goddess energy and for better understanding the history of this land.
• Angel Medicine by Doreen Virtue: In this book, Doreen recounts her past-life memories of Atlantis as well as her journey to Stonehenge & Glastonbury. It is a great way to get in touch with the energy that will greet us in Glastonbury.
